Please submit your Summer Intern Housing application for The Fairfax Apartments via this registration site. Read the important information below and click SIGN UP at the bottom of the page to proceed with registration. In order to qualify for Summer Intern Housing, students must be 18 years or older and provide evidence of their internship, such as a letter of acknowledgment from the company as well as the name and contact information of their internship supervisor. Upon completing your registration, please send evidence of the internship to Conference & Event Services.
Accommodations
Carnegie Mellon University’s Summer Intern Housing accommodations will officially begin on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 and end on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. These dates are firm and not able to be extended before or after the dates above. Interns will be housed in The Fairfax Apartment complex. The Fairfax Apartments Residents will have a shared kitchen and bathroom as a part of the apartment-style living, as well as access to a community spaces within the building that include lounges, study rooms, shared community kitchen and a back patio. Residents will have a roommate if they choose to stay in a double room. The Conference and Event Services Team will room interns in similar programs together when applicable. The many amenities available include a 24-hour secured, air-conditioned, and fully furnished apartment, free Wi-Fi, and on-site laundry.

Parking
Parking is available on campus as part of the Intern Housing Program. The cost is $550.00 for the entire summer. A hangtag will be given to those who signed up for parking and must be displayed at all times while parked on campus. If you wish to purchase a parking permit, please select it in the options during the registration process. Conference and Event Services is NOT responsible for any CMU issues parking tickets or violations while parking on campus. Parking is NOT refundable.
Cancellation Policy
In order to cancel, you must notify Conference & Event Services. Cancellations must be received two business days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations within two business days.
